tooko runs on your Mac (it does need to be on/not asleep!), but you don't need to be at your desk. Open it on any device on the same WiFi — phone, tablet — and manage all your projects from wherever you are.

Menu bar control
tooko also has a macOS menu bar. One click opens the control panel — see which projects are running, how many tasks are in queue, and start or pause agents instantly.
No need to open the full app. Glance at the tray icon to see if your agents are busy. It's like having a tiny mission control always within reach.

If an agent fails repeatedly, tooko trips the circuit breaker and pauses automatically. No runaway loops, no burnt tokens.

Security built in

Every project gets a 4-digit PIN by default. Creating, editing, and deleting tasks all require it. Agents bypass it automatically with a secure key — humans don't.
Failed attempts lock the project temporarily. Brute-force protection is built in, not bolted on.
Each project has its own policy file controlling exactly what the AI can touch — filesystem roots, command allow-lists, git operations, network access. You define the sandbox.
